One Day Hike

Our one day hike gives you a taste of what its like to venture out into the jungle of the lower Talamanca mountain range.

After the 1 ½ hour drive, we hike for 1 ½ hours along the upper Savegre River valley crossing small streams while looking for wildlife. Once we get to the Fonseca lodge we will have some well deserved refreshments.

Recreational activities include: cliff jump into the river, river float, tree climb and rappel.

One can choose some of the activities offered at the lodge or relax on the deck and look for exotic birds and wildlife.

After a good home-cooked lunch we can go for a swim in the cool river or slowly start our hike back down to the vehicle.
